John Van Druten's I Remember Mama, is a heartwarming story of a Norwegian immigrant family who settles in San Francisco during the early 1900s. Faced with many challenges, the family is held together by the mother – a humble and soft spoken, but strong - willed protector. It will be performed at the South Burlington High School auditorium on Friday and Saturday, January 11 and 12, 2019 at 7 pm. Based on the stories from Mama's Bank Account by Kathryn Forbes, I Remember Mama is presented in association with the First Light Theatre Project. In our fast paced modern world, things like traditional family values may seem old-fashioned, but this play reminds us of their importance. The play is performed by a collection of 20 outstanding young actors from Tuttle Middle School, along with a live cat Tickets go on sale in mid-December at www.firstlighttheatrevt.com and will be available at the door before each performance.
