The Springfield Art and Historical Society will present "The 2019 Calendar Pictures and Springfield Bridges" Saturday, January 19 at 2:00 pm at the SAHS facility at 65 Route 106 North, North Springfield. Bunni Putnam will first talk briefly about the 13 pictures in the 2019 calendar. The audience will then take a look at the eight bridge sites in Springfield that cross the Black River plus the Connecticut River Toll Bridge. There have been 20 different bridges to cross this waterway and SAHS has photographs of most of them, including the three original covered bridges. This program is free and open to all.
