I want to extend an invitation to you to this concert. We are the Barre City Rock & Soul Chorus giving 2 concerts per year, each one benefiting a charity in the central VT area. I have been part of this 50 member group for 4 + years and the rehearsals just make me smile! This winter's concert will make you smile , too! It is held at the Barre Elks Club and is a comfie atmosphere with tables, a dance floor (voluntary use only) and a bar that stays open. The music ranges from Arethra Franklin to Michael Jackson to Carole King to bands from the 80's, 90"s and 2000's! We are many voices that rehearse every Thursday, accompanied by an incredible band.

We hope to make $3,000 for this concert's charity: The Turning Point Center of Central VT. This charity helps people find, maintain and enhance their substance abuse recovery by providing peer-based recovery support to individuals and families. It also has educational programs that aid building and enriching a healthy life as well as maintains a safe haven for sober recreation and social activities.
