Kate Logan, Programming & Policy Director for RIGHTS & DEMONCRACY (RADVT.org) will explain how regular Vermonters can get involved under the Golden Dome. Kate will also review prospects for legislation affecting workers' rights; e.g., paid family leave, minimum wage; as well as sustainable energy legislation, clean water legislation, and climate change legislation. This is a casual and interactive program and it will be followed by Community Potluck Dinner, at about 6:00, where you can share both good food and good conversation with everyone who has come for the meeting, the program, or for the contra dance that starts a bit later! NO CHARGE & FAMILY FRIENDLY.
The public is also invited to the business meeting of CCG#469 that begins at 4:15.
