The Chittenden County 4-H office is hosting a poultry workshop for youth age 8-18. Originally open only to 4-H members, there are a few spots left so the program is being opened to youth not enrolled in 4-H. WHAT? 4-H Poultry Fun and Potluck WHERE? UVM Extension 4-H Office, 140 Kennedy Drive, S. Burlington WHEN? Saturday January 12th, 2019 from 3:30 p.m. – 6 p.m. WHY? To have fun and learn about poultry HOW: Reserve a spot by e-mailing rosemarie.garritano@UVM.edu no later than Friday January 4, 2019!! A parent or guardian of non 4-H participants is expected to stay during the program. Activities will include making model combs and wings, duck identification, and a general poultry jeopardy game. Youth attendees are also asked to make and bring a savory dish to share that features eggs.
