Come a-wassailing with us! At the Eden Boutique Taproom & Cheesebar, we'll be pouring hot and cold cider, slinging hot hand pies, reveling to live tunes and dancing with The Zeichner Trio. This will be an evening of fun and fellowship! What's a Wassail, you ask? Wassailing is an evening of light and laughter, song and cider. Wassailing is an old tradition practiced to convey another year of health and good harvests on its celebrants and the orchard trees that provide the harvest of apples, that in turn provides for our merrymaking the rest of the year! This event is free and open to the public; refreshments will be available for purchase.
Yasi, Oliver, and Louli Zeichner are three siblings who play traditional Irish music, and Old-Time/Appalachian music – with Louli on 4 and 5-string banjos and Celtic harp, Oliver on the penny whistle and the uilleann bagpipes, and Yasi on the fiddle. They have performed throughout the state at many events, from festivals to weddings to house-warmings. Bringing the tradition alive with their creativity in voice and instrument, The Zeichner Trio has gained a reputation in the community as a young, up-and-coming band in the state of Vermont. http://zeichnertriomusic.wixsite.com/zeichnertriowebsite
