The North Country Chorus welcomes singers to its Spring 2019 season. Under the direction of Alan Rowe, this season's program celebrates Leonard Bernstein's "Chichester Psalms" as his 100th anniversary year comes to an end. The Chorus will also be singing Gabriel Faure's "Requiem," on May 3, 4 and 5.

Rehearsals for the spring concerts begin Tuesday, Jan. 15, and run every Tuesday thereafter, from 7:15 to 9 pm, in the band room of the Morse Center for the Arts at St. Johnsbury Academy. Singers are encouraged to arrive early for this first rehearsal to get their music and enjoy a brief social time with refreshments.

Auditions are not required; but everyone is expected to attend rehearsals regularly and work to sing your best. Annual membership dues are $35 for adults, and $20 for high school and college students. If you have wanted to get back into choral singing, or if you have never sung beyond the privacy of your own home or car, come sing with us! New singers are encouraged to register online.
