AARP Coffee Talk

Past event
Jan 9, 2019, 9 to 10 AM

Enjoy a free cup of coffee and share your ideas on making Greater Burlington more livable. Please join us Wednesday, January 9 from 9AM – 10AM. Our guest presenter will be Janet Nunziata, of Queen City Memory Cafe. The Queen City Memory Café started in 2014, but the café concept began in the Netherlands in the 1990's, according to some sources. With monthly gatherings throughout Vermont, our local branch, based in Burlington, Vermont, is for people living with dementia and other forms of memory loss and their care partners. NOTE: I have several free copies of the AARP book "Your Brain: Boost your memory and Improve Your Life; Smart Foods, Mental Workouts, Power of the Mind" that I will hand out to attendees.

AARP VT's coffee talk discussion will be led by our volunteers on relevant, timely issues. You will have the opportunity to share your ideas and have a chance to visit with neighbors and provide input for future topic discussions.
Please join us over a cup of coffee or tea ~
