It's January in Vermont... not much to do with the holidays over... but there's Science Pub!

So on Sunday, January 6, 4 pm, come join your curious friends and neighbors to hear Asst. Professor Gregory Engel of Castleton University explore this puzzle:

Why can some people safely use opioids or drink alcohol while others become quickly addicted?
The answer lies in our genes, but which ones?

We'll meet at Lake Bomoseen Lodge, which has been redone with a third floor for meetings, so we have a large, quiet and accessible space to listen, ask questions, meet people, drink and eat (or not).
