This year, our Christmas present is our opening the doors of our New Home for Christmas Presence!
For many, the holidays are a time for family and warmth, grace and gratitude. For some, though, the holidays can be a season of isolation and emotional pain. In response to this truth, Martha's Community Kitchen chooses to extend our Hours of Service on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day providing a delicious meal and a warm space for all to gather.
On December 24th our doors will be open the regular day time hours;
Senior Social time: 9 a.m. – 11 a.m. and Lunch for All from 11 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.
Then our doors will reopen on Christmas Eve evening from 5:30 p.m. til 8 p.m.
All are welcome to share great food, caroling and friendship.
On Christmas day, our doors will open at 10 a.m. with a full dinner being served from
11:30 a.m. til 4:30 p.m. All are welcome. Yes, EVERYONE is welcome to come share a table!
Since 1984, Marthas Kitchen has been sustained through the generosity of area churches, local businesses, foundations, families and individuals who seek to make a difference within our community.
Children, women and men of all ages and backgrounds receive a warm meal, are cared for and given some dignity in life because of you and the help you give us.
We continue to benefit from the kindness of community members who are enthusiastic in making themselves available, offering support and encouragement which is necessary to maintain the essential spirit of service we strive for.
