Cajun Band Chaque Fois at Charlie-O'S for Spice on Snow!

Come out on a cold night and dance away to Cajun two-steps and waltzes with the twin fiddling of Chaque Fois! This evening show is part of the Spice on Snow Winter Music Festival, which fills Montpelier with the sounds of Old-Time, Cajun, Americana, and Honky-Tonk music to liven the air in the depths of winter. "Chaque Fois!" performs Cajun music that sets a festive atmosphere. The name translates to "every time," and represents the fun and energy the group generates whenever they play together. The band is led by Alec Ellsworth (accordion, fiddle, vocals) and Katie Trautz (fiddle, vocals). Both multi-instrumentalists, they weave rhythms, harmonies and melodies together with their instruments and voices. They are joined by Chris Hollis on guitar and triangle, and Helen Doyle on bass.
