March 6, 7pm — The Musical, Magical Theremin at Peacham Library
Peacham School music teacher Kevin Colosa will give an interactive demonstration of the Theremin, one of the earliest electronic synthesizers. A musical instrument invented by accident nearly 100 years ago by a Soviet physicist during the time of Lenin, the Theremin is played without physical contact. There will be a demonstration, a Q&A session, and opportunities to try one’s hand at this unique instrument.
