Hi South End -

Do you love those scenes in the Gilmore Girls where they have town meetings? Me too! Well, you're in luck because we do that every month here in Burlington. It's called the NPA!

I hope this month you'll come to our Ward 5 NPA (Neighborhood Planning Assembly) meeting on Thursday at City Market's South End Community Room. Yes, we have snacks!

We also have your city councilors. Sometimes we have your school board members. Sometimes we have the mayor. This month we also have Meagan Tuttle coming to talk about Plan BTV. Every month we have a different group of elected officials and community organizations.

I joined the Ward 5 NPA Steering Committee because I think it's really cool that the city gov cares about what we think. We host gov officials and community orgs and talk about the goings on around town. Then the City knows what we think and can make better decisions. I learn something awesome about Burlington every month!
