Come hear first hand about issues on the Arizona border. Marshfield native Elsa Engstrom, a volunteer with the organization No More Deaths, a humanitarian aid and advocacy group in the U.S./Mexico borderlands, will speak at the Unitarian Church in Montpelier on Sunday, 12/23 at 12:15pm, and again on Wednesday, December 26, from 5:30-6:30 p.m. at the Plainfield Friends Meetinghouse.
In addition, there is an opportunity to make a telephone call in support of nine of the No More Death workers who have been arrested. The organization is hoping for a multitude of calls this week. For more information, go to bit.ly/neveracrime
