Opiate Addiction from the Community Perspective

Past event
Jan 15, 2019, 5:30 to 8 PM

Designed to bring together a diverse array of stakeholders from the greater Rutland County area, this three-week seminar will explore the scope of the opiate crisis in our community. It will assist participants in knowing the telltale signs of opiate addiction as well as helping them develop a greater understanding of the effects of opiate addiction on friends, family and society-at-large. And finally, as a facilitated group of concerned participants we should identify an integrated community response to the problem and what each of us can do individually in shaping that response. Included in this seminar each week will be a light supper meal. An opportunity to have childcare provided by Stafford Technical Center will be extended only to those participants who pre-register and indicate that this service is needed. Sorry but walk-in participants cannot be accommodated. The cost for the three sessions is $ 30.00. Email william.lucci@rcpsvt.org or visit staffordonline.org/adult education to enroll and pay.
