Free Fitness Event on New Year's Day

Start 2019 right by attending 3 FREE classes at the Hyde Park Elementary School gym!

We will start at 2pm with 45 minutes of "STRONG by Zumba" lead by instructors Luciana and Meredith. SBZ is a high-intensity interval training (HIIT) workout where music and moves are truly in sync, pushing you further to achieve your most ambitious fitness goals. This is NOT a dance class. Squats, planks, burpees, push ups, and a lot of sweat! You will need a mat for the floor exercises.

At 3pm we dance! Zumba is a latin-inspired dance-fitness program that incorporates Latin and international music and dance movements. Meredith, Luciana and Sujata will make you sweat with this fun 45 minute workout. No dance experience needed! Just enjoy the music and keep on moving!

At 4pm, Cheryl and Kristen will lead a 30 minute yoga class for you to stretch and strengthen your body and your mind with a gentle, introductory class. This will be such a treat, especially if you attend the previous classes! You will get that additional focus on stretches and flexibility. Don't forget to bring a mat.

Feel free to join one, two, or all three classes. Please wear indoor sneakers and bring your water bottle. Bring a non-perishable food item for each class you attend, to be donated to the food shelf.
