The annual Christmas candle light service of lessons and carols will be held Sunday, December 23 at 4:00 PM on the second floor of the Marlboro Meeting House on South Road in the center of town. Pastor Michael Mario will lead the program that will involve lay readers recalling the story of Jesus from the Bible.
There will be plenty of music with Jim Levinson on organ backed by several familiar faces and voices. Christmas carols and other music will be sung during the program as well as a special piece sung and accompanied by Woody Bernhard. Toward the end will come the hushed singing of Silent Night as the lamps go out and the candles light the darkness.
A chair lift is available to the second floor. There will be refreshments and fellowship after the program on the first floor in the Community Center. All are welcome to attend this special program and to look around at the transformed space.
