Have you ever thought about becoming a caregiver for older adults, but don't have the experience?
VT Med Ed. is seeking those individuals interested in a Personal Care Attendant (PCA) training program hosted by Home Care Assistance of Greater Burlington. PCA training is valued by many local senior care employers, including Home Care Assistance.
A free information session/orientation is for anyone interested in learning more about the course on Thursday, December 20th, 2018 from 3:30 pm to 4:30 pm. Attendees will learn about the course syllabus and various funding that is available for those who qualify. For many participants the course is free to them and is a great stepping stone into the caregiving profession. Home Care Assistance of Greater Burlington is located at 4 Pearl St. Suite 104 Essex Junction, VT 05452 next to McGillicuddy's at Five Corners.
Course attendees will have the opportunity for hands-on training provided by VT Med Ed. The course will begin on Tuesday, January 8th, 2019 and classes will be every Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 9:00 AM until 1:00 PM for 3 weeks.
