Friends of the Ludlow Auditorium [FOLA] will bring the sights and sounds of the holiday season to the Ludlow Town Hall Auditorium with its annual Community Christmas Celebration on Friday, December 14 at 7:00 PM.
Bruce Schmidt will emcee this night of holiday performances by the members of the community. Heidi Beitz and the Ludlow Elementary School 6th Graders will give a reading of "Twas the Night Before Christmas". Mary Barron will lead students from the Ludlow Elementary School and the Mt Holly Elementary School in Christmas singalongs. Katherine Herrle and the Black River High School/Middle School will also perform a variety of holiday music including a rather enthusiastic rendition of the "Twelve Days of Christmas".
In addition to the student performances, there will be a skit where a movie producer comes up with the greatest script for a movie of all time that sounds a lot like the Christmas Eve story. A reading of a holiday story that will tug at your heartstrings. And many more lovely performances. Who knows, maybe even Santa Claus will show up.
So come and enjoy this celebration that will feature some of your friends and neighbors.
The Community Christmas Celebration is free and open to everyone of good cheer!
