Have you ever wished you knew how to respond better to racist comments and jokes? Have you remained quiet, but wished you had spoken up? Reports of both explicit and implicit bias against people because of race and skin color are increasing.

Come join Central Vermont Showing Up For Racial Justice and practice responding with other interested community members. SURJ and the Unitarian Church of Montpelier are hosting a series evenings of "Speaking up for Racial Justice PRACTICE sessions: Interrupting hate and addressing unintended bias." Come to one or all.

6-8 pm on 2nd Wednesdays through the winter and early spring. Next one: Wed. December 12, 2018 at the Unitarian Church of Montpelier (130 Main St.).
