From 7-7:30 on Monday March 3rd, the Monkton Central School Board will present information on the school and aspects of this year's budget. Topics will include Special Education consolidation, building maintenance issues and the Statewide trend of declining enrollment and how that affects the tax rate.

At 7:30 Ken Wheeling will moderate a discussion regarding the budget which will be presented to the voters on Town Meeting day, March 4th. This budget is a 1.16 percent decrease over last year's educational spending. Please bring your Annual report, that will make it easier to follow along. All School Board meetings are at Monkton Central School, Monday's meetings will be in the gym.
