New Haven's Winterfest Celebration is Saturday, December 15th!
5:00PM ~ Festivities begin at with tasty treats and hot refreshments at The Congregational Church. The Church is located on Town Hill Road across from the Town Green.
Bundle up, get a cup of hot cocoa, tea, coffee, eggnog or cider (available throughout Winterfest at the Church), and come across the street to the Town Green.
5:30PM ~ The Memorial Tree Lighting on the Town Green, sponsored by the New Haven Volunteer Fire Department.
5:30PM - 6:30PM ~ Decorate the Memorial Tree, warm your hands by the fire barrels, take a horse drawn wagon ride, make s'mores, enjoy a cup of hot cocoa, sing carols, and roast marshmallows and chestnuts over the fire on the Town Green.
Santa to arrive at the Bandstand around 5:30PM.
6:30PM ~ Please, join us across the street at the Congregational Church for the magical sounds of hand bell ringing, caroling by the choir, and sing-a-long! Free hot refreshments and more yummy desserts are to follow downstairs in the Church.
