Chief Roger Longtoe Sheehan to Talk at the Wardsboro Library

Roger Longtoe Sheehan is Chief of the Elnu Abenaki Tribe based in Southern Vermont. Roger and his wife Linda will talk about Abenaki art and Indian Lore at the library. The Elnu Tribe is one of four Abenaki recognized Vermont state tribes which has its own government and by-laws. Their mission is to preserve and continue their cultural heritage through historical lectures and storytelling, singing, dancing and traditional craft making. Roger and his wife Linda plan to open a shop in Jamaica VT in the near future. All are welcome to the presentation.
