There will be a meeting of the St Albans Parkinson's Support Group on Dec 11, 2018 and will be held at Homestead, a Pillsbury senior Community located at 64 Harborview Drive, St Albans. The meeting will be held on the second floor. Meeting time is set from 10:00 am to 11:30 am. There is no charge for this meeting. There is wheel chair accessibility.
Dec 11 - A Reading on THE NATIVITY; Nate Yandow, soloist/guitarist = Silent Night/Holy Night; Arlene Jarvis - Soprano soloist, former music teacher in the St Albans school area, Verne Colburn – pianist/accompanist (Chief Warrant Officer (ret) Commander of the 40th Army band, BFA high school band teacher.
The group is open to those with the disease, their caregivers including family and loved ones as well as those wanting to learn about this disease. The fall, winter and summer monthly meetings can provide an open forum to share experiences with others who are coping with the illness, gain education and support as well as provide recommendations for dealing with the day-to-day care. Participants can learn from each other, meet new people, have discussions, and listen to presentations.
