It's hard to believe, but another baseball season is starting already! Center City Little League will be holding registration and indoor practice at Memorial Auditorium, St. Josephs and Lawrence Barnes this month, and once the weather warms up, practices and games will be held at Roosevelt Park and at Lawrence Barnes. The Center City league boundary extends all the way from Burlington High School to Main Street, and all boys and girls between the ages of 4 and 12 who live in this area are encouraged to sign up. Any student at SA or IAA is also eligible, regardless of where they live.
The practices are broken down by age group, and we hope you will attend as many as you can:
Boys & girls aged 9-12:
- Memorial Auditorium, Wednesdays 6:00 to 7:30 pm, March 12, 19, 26
Boys & girls aged 6-8:
- St. Joseph’s School, Fridays 6:00 to 7:00 pm, March 14, 21 & 28
Boys & girls aged 4-5:
- SA at Lawrence Barnes, Saturdays 9:00 to 10:00 am, March 22 & 29
You must attend at least one practice to register and be placed on a team. Have your child bring a baseball glove and sneakers. First-time players will also need to bring a copy of their birth certificate. The registration fee is $35 per player or $50 for a family, but scholarships are available so no one will be turned away.
