Dear Neighbors,

This Monday, the City Council will hold its first of two regular meetings for the month of December. The City Council meeting will begin at 7pm.

The first item on our agenda is a report from Ward 6's own Lauren-Glenn Davitian, Executive Director of CCTV Center for Media and Democracy, on City Council on Channel 17 operations, to advise the members and Mayor of funding requirements for Channel 17, and to request an additional annual contribution toward Channel 17's operating and capital budget.

On our deliberative agenda are the following items:

• A discussion from Neale Lunderville, Interim Director of CEDO, regarding the Moran Plan update
• A resolution regarding a Charter Change to eliminate the Business Personal Property Tax
• A communication on the Downtown Improvement District
• A resolution to reestablish the NPA mini-grant program and a community good deed program

Please keep in mind that you are always welcome to come to a Council meeting and speak on any topic you wish during public forum. This begins at a time certain of 7:30pm at every Council meeting. You may access the Council agenda at http://www.boarddocs.com/vt/burlingtonvt/Board.nsf/Public Please note that all Council meetings are televised live on BT Channel 317 and streamed live to your computer or phone. As always, I welcome your questions and concerns. I hope you have a wonderful weekend.

My best,
Karen
