Mayan ruins + Culture of Belize, Guatemala +Honduras

TRAVELOG: The Mayan Ruins and the Culture of Belize, Guatemala and Honduras on Tuesday, December 11 at 1:30 at the Richmond Free Library Community Room. Fran and Dave Thomas will show slides of the highlights of their trip-- the extraordinary Mayan ruins of Copan in Honduras, Tikal in Guatemala, Cahal Pech and Xunantunich in Belize, a boat ride on Lake Atitlan and their interaction with the local communities to experience the culture of each country. Other points of interest were the UNESCO World Heritage City of Antigua with its Chichicastenango Market, a textile cooperative and a jade museum and factory.
