This is the Community Chorus' first performance under the Direction of Erik Kroncke, a well known, Vermont based, professional Bass singer who has performed Opera all over the world. When asked his thoughts when planning this concert he replied, "For my first concert with this chorus, I wanted to choose an eclectic selection of music that embraced the season. From more traditional, but very beautiful music of Elgar and Holst, to more modern and jazzy selections including an arrangement of a West Indies carol by beloved Vermont composer Robert DeCormier. This program has been embraced by the choir and their enthusiasm and energy are thrilling. It has been an exciting few months of preparation with some truly spectacular music and we look forward to sharing it with the community."
