The historic 1867 East Monkton Church, 405 Church Road, will be the site of the eleventh annual community wide Celebration of Christmas on December 16th, at 4:00 PM.
Music for this popular event will be provided by "Perfect and Dever". Friends for over forty years, Jeremy Perfect and Mike Dever have played music together for the past ten years. Having played in a variety of settings, one of the most fun gigs is reportedly singing God Bless America at Fenway Park for a Red Sox game.
Sponsored by the East Monkton Church Association, this event is an opportunity for the community to gather for some wonderful music, followed by refreshments and socializing. Admission is by donation, with all funds benefiting building restoration.
