For many of us, as the weather turns colder and the days become shorter, an internal "calming" or "quietness" begins to set in. We often hear from those coming to Milarepa to do retreat how hard it was for them to carve out the time to devote solely to their practice. It is from this feeling in ourselves and our own desire to make more time that the retreat days series was born and we are inviting you to join us this Saturday for the final day in our Autumn Retreat Series.
We will have a schedule for the day, a "working theme" which will guide our practice sessions, lunch and tea breaks, time for personal reflection, journaling, studying texts, walking outside, or walking around the stupa/prayer wheels, etc. This will allow for time during the day that is self-directed so that you may explore your own practice and benefit the most from the day.
