Join a small group of field naturalists as we explore the Wheelock Farm on Saturday December 8, at the corner of Swift and Spear, and the natural area that is adjacent to the South Burlington bike path and the Wheelock field, where the UVM ropes course is housed. We'll meet at 10 AM at the white barn at the corner of Swift and Spear, walk through the rock cairn sculptures that JP Marton has created, and make our way through the hemlock-white pine forest and the Potash Brook watershed. Julie Cadwallader Staub and Roberta Nubile will lead the walk. Both are participants in the Vermont Master Naturalist program. We will return to the white barn and our cars at approximately noon.
