Board Game Night at Johnson Public Library

Past event
Dec 5, 2018, 6:30 to 8:30 PM

Please note that the Johnson Board Game Night at the Public Library is now on the first Wednesday of the month.

Join us at the Johnson Public Library Wednesday the 5th at 6:30pm for Board Game Night, an all-ages opportunity to meet up with your neighbors in a casual and fun environment, playing some of the fun, interesting (and sometimes weird) board games of the day. Enjoy games for all types of players: from cutthroat to laid back, and from competitive to cooperative.

Games on Offer this month include:

*** THE RIVER *** The brand-new offering from the company that makes Board Game Night favorite "Ticket to Ride," The River has you attempting to settle the banks of a newly-discovered river to build the greatest town of the region. We will vote on whether the titular river in question is the Lamoille or the Gihon.

*** PARFUME *** This fun and easy game for all ages involves the careful alchemy of scents to sell exotic fragrances to wealthy clientele with particular tastes.

*** HOITY TOITY *** One man's trash is another man's treasure--buy, trade, and steal valuable curios (or junk) to build the collection that is the envy of the aristocracy.

*** FORBIDDEN DESERT *** A cooperative game for all ages in which your team is working against the clock to recover the lost parts of your airship before it (and you) are buried in a terrible sandstorm.
