A Magical Time in Stowe and an Early Holiday Season Tradition!

Saturday, December 1, 2018 EVENT SCHEDULE:

9:30am-2pm: Annual Christmas Fair at Stowe Community Church in Fellowship Hall - gorgeous handmade wreaths and many other traditional holiday crafts available

10am - 2pm: Festival Welcome & Info Table inside Stowe Visitors Center with complimentary cookies from Commodities Natural Market (Festival schedule/map and sweet treats ready for you!).

10am-4pm: Cork Stowe Gingerbread House Decorating* (Reservations & pre-payment required: corkvt.com)

11am and 2pm: Candy Cane Twisting & Hot Chocolate Samples at Laughing Moon Chocolates* (First-come, first-serve: no reservations taken this year to twist your own cane for $6. All are welcome to observe and sample for free.)

12-3pm: Stowe Vibrancy hosts Main Street Village Green Holiday Fun with Root 7 A Cappella Carolers (performances at 12pm and 1:30pm), Vermont Reindeer Farm visits and photo ops and Waffle Cabin vending waffles & hot cider. Wagon Rides through Stowe Village with Reindeer Dominique and the "legendary" Paul Percy!

12-3pm: Santa Photos at Stowe Mercantile and Holiday Cookie Decorating
at Café on Main. $10 donated to Lamoille Community Food Share for every child who visits Santa & Mrs. Claus!

12-3pm: "Welcome to Winter!" by Stowe Parks & Recreation at David Gale Rec Center - games, crafts, treats and fun!

1:15pm - 3:15pm: Open Ice Skating at Stowe Arena ($5/pp skating fees apply + skate rental fees, if needed)

2pm and 7:30pm: Spruce Peak Resort Association Presents "A Christmas Carol" by Vermont Actor
Company and Vermont Youth Theater at Spruce Peak Performing Arts* (Tickets available at pop-up box office inside Stowe Visitors Center or at sprucepeakarts.org)

Sunday, December 2, 2018 EVENT SCHEDULE:

BRAND NEW EVENT THIS YEAR!
11am-2pm: Disney FROZEN Film and Character Skate at Stowe Arena* (free film, free hot cocoa for kids + $5/pp for open ice skating and $5/pp for face painting)
-11am - 12:40pm: Frozen film showed in Community Room at Arena.
-12:30pm - 2:00pm: Open ice skating with Elsa, Olaf and Anna + some of "Santa's Helpers: the 2018 Stowe Championship HS Girls Hockey Team!

PLUS: 10am - 5:30pm: The Red Barn Shops on Mountain Road is hosting a Holiday Open House. Shop and sample at 5 local retailers. Enjoy door prizes, bevy's, nibbles, sales/discounts, swag bags and great raffle prizes!
