The 30 member Vermont Brass Ensemble will present a Brass & Percussion concert on Saturday, December 1, 2018, 3:00pm in the University of Vermont Recital Hall at the Southwick Music Building, 384 South Prospect St., Burlington, VT 05405- Free Admission. We are starting our 5th concert season. We are a student-run brass ensemble made up of majors, non majors, alumni and community members getting together to share our love for brass music. Come join us for an afternoon of brass and percussion music. The group is directed by Kyra Johnston, and conducted by Larry Solt. Music on this concert will feature compositions by Richard Strauss, John Williams, Franz Biebl, Björk, Philip Sparke, James Swearingen, Pavel Chesnokov, Josef Wagner and Oscar Fetràs.
