This Saturday - December 1st, the 16th Annual NBFD Peace & Goodwill Dinner and Silent Auction will be held. It should be a night to remember! Good food, good friends, a good cause and the opportunity to do some holiday shopping. The silent auction bidding will begin at 5:30 and dinner will be at 6:00. $12 for Adults and $6 for 12 and under.

The donations have been nothing short of spectacular this year. We have a generous collection of items available for your bidding pleasure... from hand crafted quilts, cutting boards, baby clothes, adirondack chairs, pure maple syrup, pottery, autographed books, giant snowflakes, jewelry, designer bags, mittens, and fresh wreaths to start with.

Then of course there are the massages, yoga classes, riding lessons and beauty treatments, Gift certificates for meals on the town, or lift tickets for skiing down the mountains. You can find something to pamper your pet, your significant other, or your friends. There are overnight packages at some of the finest establishments in the area as well.

There are car washes, fuel cards, cases of oil and safety equipment. The list goes on and on! We can not thank our donors and sponsors enough.

Carr's Tree and Timber Service has generously donated 8 hours of tree services which could include tree removal, pruning, cabling & bracing, organic tick & mosquito control valued at $1,800. We also have interior designers and architecture specialists offering services as well as photographers and a special "mystery envelope" to bid on.

We gratefully are accepting homemade cookies for our dessert table-bring a tray to share. The auction committee will be setting up the room Friday if you need to drop something off.
