This Sunday begins the season of Advent. We will be celebrating with our "Hanging of the Greens" service. The church will be transformed from plain to adorned with pine and balsam and cedar and holly and ivy, each symbolic in some way. Lot of singing, some readings, and not much preaching. The first Advent Candle will be lit -- the candle of HOPE. The whole community is invited to join us.
