Norwich University is proud to host Stephan Wolfert for a performance of his one-man show "Cry Havoc!" Friday, Nov. 30, and Saturday, Dec. 1, at 7:30pm in Mack Auditorium.
The performance shows us that the military men and women of Shakespeare's time wrestled with the same hopes and worries that occupy our modern lives. It explores the difficulties that our veterans and their families face. Wolfert is also the founder of De-Cruit, an organization that interweaves personal writings with Veteran-related Shakespeare texts, applying stage skills for life-skills and completing the communalization of trauma within their community.
This event is free and open to the public.
"Cry Havoc! is a veteran-themed performance that I would recommend to veterans and civilian friends alike."
-The Village Voice
"Wolfert's show is intriguing in concept and exhilarating in practice. Developed over the course of a lifetime, this autobiographical piece is an emotional, intellectual and political wallop."
