Please join us on Thursday, March 20, 5:30-7:00 p.m., at South Burlington High School for South Burlington’s Celebration Dinner of Neighborhood Learning Conversations. The event is free, open to the public, and appropriate for all ages. It will be a wonderful night of listening to and learning from one another.

Neighborhood Learning Conversations (NLCs) have been happening all over South Burlington since January 2014 -- they are exciting dialogues that invite teenagers and adults to weigh in on what they consider important for a student to know by high school graduation. Information gathered at these meetings will be compiled and used to inform the district as they revise graduation requirements by 2016. The work being done in South Burlington is part of a larger effort happening at the State level.

March 20 is an exciting opportunity to be involved in important decisions regarding the education of our community’s children and to learn more about the good work already happening. We hope you will join the conversation!
