Filmed all over Vermont and produced right here in Montpelier, "A Natural History of Vermont" will have its theatrical premiere on Wednesday at Main Street Landing in Burlington. The film is a meditative, wordless exploration of our natural environment, set to a spellbinding original score. One ten-year-old audience member at an earlier screening said "it touched me in my heart."
The screening will be free and open to the public, to benefit (by donation) the Vermont Audubon Society. There will be a reception with snacks and a bar by the Skinny Pancake at 6, with the film itself starting at 7 sharp in the main theater at Main Street Landing. The producer (me!) will be there for a Q&A afterward, and the filmmaker--your neighbor James McNamara--will likely also be there.
