Please join the Plainfield Energy Team for the Button Up Plainfield Energy Saving Launch Party, 6:00 PM on December 4th. The Button Up Party will be held in the Plainfield Fire Station Club Room on the west side of the building at 169 Main St., Plainfield. Here's a link to Google maps: https://goo.gl/maps/4mokYTMidGt New this year is that Plainfield is a "Hero" town, and residents will have the option to sign up for of a FREE home energy assessment visit online. Food will be available at 6:00 PM, and presentations begin at 6:30.
There is so much to learn about saving energy! You will be able to sign up for a FREE weatherization contractor visit to your home or apartment, and receive a small energy saving gift for doing so. We will feature presentations by local contractors and Efficiency VT, and have information from power companies and VSECU representatives to learn about cash incentives and financing for your project. There will also be a chance to learn more about leaking, under-insulated buildings, how they waste energy, and how YOU can make a difference - by saving energy dollars and making your home more healthy and comfortable.
Parking - There is some parking behind the building, but please do not park in spots labeled for Coop Customers only. There is also parking on the nearby streets, and additional parking at the Plainfield Park & Ride, about an eighth mile further east of the fire station.
Mark your calendar now, and we will see you at the Party on December 4th.
