Kindercrafts with Jenni Bee

Across Roads Center for the Arts invites all children to make holiday gifts with Jenni Bee in Holiday KinderCraft workshops this December at the Grange Hall Cultural Center. These workshops are great ways for parents, grandparents, and caregivers to enjoy the season with their little ones and share the holiday spirit.
On Saturday, December 1, 10-11:30am, in Mix, Shape, and Decorate! Jenni Bee will guide participants through the process of making their own salt dough clay, shaping a variety of forms, and decorating them for display. A variety of techniques will be used for shaping and embellishing and hanging..
On Saturday, December 8, 10-11:30am, Homemade Holiday Cards, participants will use watercolors, resist techniques, collage and glitter to create festive greetings to send to friends and family! Who doesn't like a handmade card? A variety of materials will be available for children to explore fun and expressive ways to make their holiday cards.

Jenni Bee is an artist and graphic designer and has exhibited her art in various venues and online magazines. She is a licensed art teacher with experience teaching students 2 to adult, and currently is the after school program manager at the Montessori pre-school where she incorporates art that is based student explorations and interest. She has taught art at U-32 and in various after school programs in Waterbury, Montpelier, and Plainfield, and also teaches art to youth on parole and probation.

$10 for adult and first child, $5 for each additional child (includes materials)
