If you like gardening, you should come to this fun event:
March 15 at Contois Auditorium, City Hall. Noon to 2:30 p.m. in Contois Auditorium, Burlington City Hall. Join VCGN, Burlington Permaculture, Grow Team ONE, and Burlington Parks & Recreation’s Burlington Area Community Gardens for this fun community event — share plant material, celebrate the upcoming gardening season, learn from fellow gardeners, and connect with active community organizations working to propagate urban agriculture throughout the area. We invite community members to bring their own non-GMO seeds to share and exchange, and we’ll be well-stocked with a supply of seeds to share and disperse. Gardeners of all ages and experience can start seeds and take them home. Stick around for the potluck after the swap; please bring a dish to share and your own plate and fork to reduce waste. This free, community event is open to everyone (donations welcome).
