Mother Up! Montpelier is an intergenerational initiative of 350Vermont, gathering families to build community and take action to plan for a future with climate change. Dinner and childcare are provided. 5:30-6 dinner

More information about this month's gathering: Please join us this Friday, November 16, at the North Branch Nature Center in Montpelier, for an evening of "sacred instructions." Abby Mnookin, Brattlebory Mother Up! organizer and Vermont Mother Up! coordinator, will join me in facilitating our evening. We will share from, and expand on the insights and teachings from the leadership and change retreat we attended in Brattleboro a couple of weeks ago.
Sherri Mitchell, who led the retreat, is a Wabanaki leader, lawyer and environmental activist from the Penobscot bay in Maine. I attached the picture of her most recent book, Sacred Instructions, and you can read an excerpt/take a look at her work here:
