19th Annual Festival of Lights
Saturday, December 1st
11:00-1:00 Holiday Celebration at Morristown Centennial Library–for all ages! Holiday songs, stories, sparkly crafts, the dreidel game with chocolate coins and refreshments.
12:00-1:30 Come out and meet Santa and Mrs. Claus and have pictures taken at Meals on Wheels.
1:00-4:00 River Arts - create an origami star book ornament with Nancy Van Winkle, clay studio open to create a hand built piece, make a mason jar/tissue paper lantern.
12:00 Ballet Wolcott performance at River Arts.
1:00 & 3:00 Two shows! Come out and enjoy a puppet musical called "Christmas through the Years at the Lamoille Valley Grace Brethren Church (next to Out and About) on the corner of Main Street and Maple Street across from the playground.
1:00-3:30 Horse and Cart rides at Oxbow Park and Morrisville Fire Department will host a bonfire with s'mores.
1:00-2:30 Green Mountain Technology from Hyde Park will be offering free popcorn and hot chocolate at Oxbow Park. Come and learn about their career and technical education programs.
1:30-3:30 Gingerbread houses with Deb at Meals on Wheels.
1:00-3:30 Stop in E=MC2 at the corner of Union and Summer Streets and find out what they are all about, activities for everyone!
1:30-3:30 Reindeer ornament making at Meals on Wheels.
1:30-3:00 Pizza on Main, kids can learn the art of making their own pizza.
2:00 Lamoille Valley Dance Academy presents divertissement by their junior and senior company dancers.
4:00 pm Holiday parade begins at People Academy and ends at Oxbow Park with the annual tree lighting and a fabulous fire show by Fire Amusement.
Stop in to MoCo for some hot chocolate!
