Public book review and discussion hosted by Wilderness Friends Meeting featuring "Peaceful Revolution" by Paul Chappell, Sunday November 18 in the upstairs meeting room of the Shrewsbury Library, Cuttingsville, VT. Light refreshments at 11:30 a.m. Book review/discussion starting 12:00 Noon. This is the second in a series of book presentations with a third events scheduled for December 16.

Themes from the book include Chappell's experiences which illuminate the Quaker "Peace Testimony" by showing how hope, empathy, appreciation, conscience, reason and discipline give us power to live in peace with one another and between countries.

No need to read the book in advance, (but copies are available at Phoenix Bookstore in Rutland.) Themes from the book and discussion will be led by Marietta Yeager, an artistic therapist who is active in Rutland area Mentor Connector and Restorative Justice programs.
