Bring a friend, bring the family! The Jaquith Library Movies for Everyone Series Presents:

Two Short (1/2 hour each) Animated Films
Wednesday, Feb. 26 at 7 p.m.

The NY Daily News called the first film, about a pig, "one of the finest children's films ever made!" Narrated by Tim Curry, this story of love and longing passing from a forgotten marzipan pig to a mouse to a clock to an owl to a mouse to a flower to a puzzled kid, is simple and deep, mysterious and humorous.

The second short film, narrated by Ruby Dee, is about the friendship two girls (one black and one white) strike up in 1919 Harlem, young Fats Waller's jazz debut, and silent movies. This film is warm, funny, educational and has great music.
