If you want to help children and families in Burlington, many of whom are refugees and families and children for whom English is not the primary language, then please come and find out how the Sara Holbrook Community Center has been doing this for decades. This remarkable organization has been supporting working parents while teaching and guiding Burlington children since 1937, and we are in the final phase of a capital campaign which, if successful, will allow us to expand our space and increase opportunities for children and families in our community.
Please join us at the Families for Families Luncheon, catered by August First, on Thursday, November 15th, from 12 – 1 pm at Main Street Landing Performing Arts Center in Burlington.
There are no tickets to buy and the program is heartwarming and inspirational. You will be asked to fill out a pledge card and to make a multi-year pledge at the end of the hour.
If donating to help these wonderful families is something you want to hear more about, and if you want to have a delicious lunch in good company, you will enjoy the hour.
