The Randolph Area Community Development Corporation invites you to our 2018 Annual Meeting!
The Randolph Area Community Development Corporation (RACDC) is a nonprofit organization that unites the White River Valley community behind initiatives which strengthen our region's social and economic assets in order to enrich quality of life, instill pride and build confidence. We do this by promoting sound development practices and investment, creating affordable housing options, preserving environmental and historic resources, and leading in the revitalization of downtown and village centers. As Randolph's Designated Downtown Organization, the RACDC office is located in the heart of Randolph's Downtown!
The Board of Directors of the RACDC invites its members and the public to attend the 2018 Annual Membership Meeting on Friday, November 16th, starting at 6pm, in the Community Room of Our Lady of the Angels Catholic Church, 43 Hebard Hill Road, Randolph, VT.
The meeting will start at 6pm with desserts and beverages prepared by the RTCC's Culinary Arts program. From 6:30 to 7pm, new board members will be elected and annual reports will be presented by the board president, treasurer and executive director. At 7:15 our Guest Speaker will take the stage!
Guest Speaker Dominic Cloud, City Manager of Saint Albans, will present "Harnessing the Power of Public/Private Partnerships for Downtown Redevelopment." St. Albans has experienced dramatic Downtown revitalization through their daring and creative investment. Mr. Cloud will tell us how the City decided to 'drive its own destiny.' Current initiatives in Saint Albans include a $20 million mixed-use project including 60 units of mixed income housing, and a new 25,000 square foot commercial building on Main Street!
