The Hot Pickin' Party will be performing for the Burnham Music Series on Saturday, November 10th,at 7:30 p.m., at Burnham Hall, 52 River Rd. in Lincoln. Hot Pickin' Party is a bluegrass band comprised of guitarist Doug Perkins, bassist Mike Santosusso, and dobro player Adam Frehm. The trio first appeared on the Vermont music scene over 20 years ago as the core members of the popular newgrass jamband Smokin' Grass, which released two critically acclaimed full length recordings, appeared on numerous cd complications, and toured nationally, performing in over 30 states. You'll hear a mix of original songs, traditional bluegrass songs, familiar yet eclectic classic covers and the occasional completely improvised jam. The show costs $10 for adults, kids and teens are free. Refreshments will be served during intermission.
