The Vermont Department of Education is holding a hearing on the future of education in Vermont. There is a strong movement in Montpelier toward School District Consolidation which will likely Eliminate School Choice in tuitioning towns. Beginning at 4:30 pm on February 27, 2014 those wishing to speak at the public hearing may sign up outside of the the Theater of the Rutland High School, 22 Stratton Road, Rutland. The hearing will be held between 5pm and 6:30pm.This public hearing allows an opportunity for individuals to make a two to three minute speech. If the future of education in Vermont is important to you please attend this hearing and stay informed.
